StockX In Residence: Daniel Arsham
2022 
In Residence launched as a way to unify DropX releases around a theme and create more impactful, sustained storytelling in order to elevate both the DropX program and the forward-thinking brands and creators that participated. Daniel Arsham was selected as the inaugural curator due to his existing relationship with StockX, and his theme of “Art and Residence” spoke to his interest in furniture and the StockX consumers’ growing desire for design goods and objects overall.

Daniel Arsham’s residency kicked off with an experiential activation held at Spazio Maiocchi in Milan during Salone del Mobile. The activation featured an exhibition of brand-new chairs designed for Daniel’s residency by interdisciplenary designers including Snarkitecture x Gufram, Arsham x USM, PHILLLLLTHY, Eny Lee Parker, doublet, EYEFUNNY, Playlab, and Hidden, among others.

StockX: DropX
2020-2022 
The DropX program brought primary release opportunities and exclusive product to StockX, enabling the platform to capture the entirety of the consumer journey instead of being limited to post-release trading. DropXs ranged from Megan Thee Stallion’s inaugural product with Revlon to Lewis Hamilton’s first merch drop to Nothing’s first earbuds to collabs between New Balance, Malbon Golf, Babylon, Slowthai, Coachella, Michael Lau, and more. All the winning products featured in HBO Max’s The Hype were released via DropX. The first Nike Jordan Brand Player Exclusive sneaker released to the public (the Air Jordan VIII University of Oregon PE) was released via DropX, the first sneaker launch with proceeds going to university athletes via updated NIL regulations.
